University Of Mauritius Organizes A Project Workshop On 06 March 2025.

This workshop was the third and last session of the research project titled “Risk Management Framework for Improving Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System Bankability in Mauritius.” This project is funded by the Higher Education Commission under the Team-Based Research in Specific Discipline/Field 2019/2020 scheme. The first workshop entitled the “Stakeholder Consultative Meeting” conducted in January 2022 enabled the presentation of the project and the collection of risk data from several stakeholders. The second workshop was conducted in July 2023 and was entitled “Data validation and sensitisation”. It showcased the risk assessment and the financial model that were developed as well as part of the work done on the risk assessment of a solar PV system.

An interactive session was conducted at the end of the workshop to showcase the ongoing projects related to Renewable Energy. The below projects and activities were discussed:

• ·     Training of Industry people on Photovoltaic Energy Systems

• ·     EDU ABCM Capacity Building on Student-Centered Energy Education in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Mauritius and Mozambique.
